Application for the Carl Flesch Academy 2023

Please select the master class you would like to participate in, fill in all fields and upload your CV as a PDF file.

Please enter anything in the comments box that might be relevant to us in the context of your application or participation in the academy.

Public Solo Performance

If you would like a solo performance with orchestra, please enter three pieces in the "repertoire" field that you have mastered as a soloist, that you would like to perfect in the master-class, and that you would like to perform together with the Baden-Baden Philharmonic. The application jury will select one of your pieces for the academy.

Your selection can include: 1st movement or 2nd & 3rd movement of a concerto or virtuoso pieces (show pieces).

It is not necessary, but beneficial, if your application video shows one or more of these pieces.

Application video

You may enter up to three videos. Your application videos can be of any length and may contain any number of pieces. Any video that gives our jury an impression of your playing skills is welcome, whether self-recorded and uncut or a professional video production of a solo performance with orchestra.

Please upload your application videos to YouTube or Vimeo, or store them on a server as an MP4 file with H.264 compression. If a password is required to view your videos, please enter it in the comments field.

Attention: If your videos cannot be viewed by our jury, due to an unusual file format or due to missing/incorrect access data, this can lead to the rejection of your application.
